Psalm 96

Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth. Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise... Psalm 96 (extract)

About us

The story of "the cell" started in Bordeaux in the summer of 2002.
A common passion brought a handful of young people together from different churches in the city of Bordeaux. This passion was not for sports, music, cinema or any other activity. It was the thirst in our hearts to seek God and to pray together. This thirst led us to meet at least once a week over the next seven years, starting in 2003.
The dozen that initially formed the group eventually grew to about 70 young people. Those who became a part of the cell caused it to grow and develop, as it was affected by each of our life journeys, contacts and acquaintances. As a group we shared our lives, the revelation of Christ, our life of faith, and our different trials in order to grow together and be encouraged in our faith and in our commitment to Jesus.
As a result, strong friendships were born and have never ceased to deepen.
Among these young Christians, including those who were only in Bordeaux for a short time, some had talent for writing poems and prayers.
Others desired to then enhance these lyrics by adding melody to them. Others still have performed them. And so, with one heart and one mind, this music project has taken shape in our hearts, with the growing desire to share the love of the Lord.  Today, many of us live far from Bordeaux.  Some live only a few miles away, others have travelled to other continents. Despite the distance, our relationships remain alive, as does this project to record some of our songs. This is why we have been led to create this blog.
